We are in the midst of National Travel & Tourism Week 2018 (May 6 – 12) and this week is about celebrating the contributions and accomplishments of the U.S. travel community over the course of the last several decades. Established in 1983, National Travel and Tourism Week is an annual tradition for the U.S. travel community to celebrate the value travel holds for our economy, business and personal well-being.
In conjunction with this year’s theme, our state office of tourism, Explore Minnesota, has created a “Minnesota Then & Now” video featuring tourism attractions and activities from across the state. Historical images were provided by the Minnesota Historical Society. The video can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kgvi3FnChYU&feature=youtu.be
We also wanted to take this opportunity to share a video that highlights some of the outstanding tourism attractions and activities Thief River Falls has to offer. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/J16Xv97mnf0
