The Thief River Falls Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) has unveiled a new brand and logo. The CVB is the tourism marketing organization for the Thief River Falls area, funded by the 3% lodging tax that is paid by overnight visitors and collected at all seven hotel properties and the city campground. The CVB was enacted in 1984 and has been operating under the same brand since inception.
As part of their new creative marketing strategy, the CVB has officially rebranded their organization to “Visit Thief River Falls” and has also redesigned their logo. Visit Thief River Falls Executive Director, Laura Stengrim noted at their April 4 press conference, “This type of rebranding has been a common shift that many CVBs have made over the past few years. We are excited that our new brand is a call to action and we feel it will simplify our marketing efforts.”
Visit Thief River Falls produces the Thief River Falls Visitor Guide, places tourism marketing advertisements attracting overnight visitors, sponsors local events that attract overnight visitors, provides welcome bags for local events, as well as many more tourism marketing initiatives.
