Tales of TRF – Art & Wine Walk

The GFWC Zehlians invite you to participate in their 2nd Annual Art & Wine Walk! What could be better than enjoying art and wine while walking around downtown with friends on a warm summer evening? This fun-filled event will take place Thursday, July 26 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in downtown Thief River Falls.

Walk to 20 participating businesses for wine and appetizer samples, while viewing area artists’ showcases at each location. LaBree Ave N. will be closed off between 2nd and 3rd Street, and there will be benches for all to rest and enjoy the evening with complimentary water provided. Get stamps from at least 12 participating businesses to be eligible to win one of the fabulous prizes given away at 8:00 p.m. on LaBree Ave. No one will leave empty handed, all participants will receive a free wine glass!

Participants must register the evening of the event between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. in the parking lot behind the Historic Carnegie Library (located at 102 Main Ave. N) Participants can pre-register online here or at the TRF Education Foundation at 230 LaBree Ave S, but participants must still register behind the Historic Carnegie Library the evening of the event. The cost is $15 for pre-registrants or $20 at the door.

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) is an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
